IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are

present, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

including the following:

KEEP AWAY FROM WATER

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

WARNING: The polyethylene bags over the product or

its packaging may be dangerous. Keep these bags out

of the reach of babies and children.

Never use them in cribs, children’s beds, pushchairs

or playpens. The thin film may cling to the nose and

mouth and prevent breathing. A bag is not a toy.

WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,

showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

1. If you are using the unit in a bathroom, unplug it after you have

finished using it. Using the unit close to a source of water

can, in fact, be dangerous, even if the unit is switched off. To

ensure additional protection, have installed in your bathroom

a residual current device (RCD) with a nominal trip current no

higher than 30 mA. Ask your electrical fitter for advice.

2. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons

in order to avoid a hazard.

4. Do not use the unit if it has fallen or if it appears to be

damaged.

5. Do not leave the unit unattended when it is plugged in or

switched on.

6. Unplug the unit immediately if you have problems when using

it.

7. Do not use any accessories other than those recommended

by manufacturer.

8. Unplug the unit after each use and before cleaning it.

9. Avoid any contact between the unit’s hot surfaces and your

skin, in particular, your ears, eyes, face and neck.

10. This unit is not intended for use by people (including children)

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by

persons who lack experience or knowledge, unless they are

supervised or have been given instructions beforehand on

the use of the unit by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to make sure they do not treat

the unit like a toy.

11. Allow the unit to cool before storing.

12. To prevent damage to the cord, do not wrap it around the unit

and ensure it is stored without twisting or folding it.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This 2-in-1 styler is intended for household use. Use on Alternating

Current (60 hertz) only.

GETTING STARTED

Your 2-in-1 styler is a 2-in-1 split barrel iron that can be used to curl

or straighten. The iron’s 25 temperature settings and Instant Heat

60-second heat-up technology combined provide styling versatility

for all hair textures. If you have fine hair, a low temperature will

provide the best results. If you have thick, wavy or hard-to-curl or

straighten hair, keep the heat setting high. You can vary the iron’s

temperature according to your particular need!

To begin, plug the styler's cord into any household outlet

(220V). Press "I" button. The iron will heat up very quickly. To

turn off, press "O" button (light will go off). Your styler will off

automatically after turn on around 60 minutes. Never leave your

styler on and unattended.

STRAIGHTENING WITH THE NEW INSTANT

HEAT 2-IN-1 SPLIT BARREL PLATES

The plates of your new iron have an extra smooth surface, for

maximum straightening performance. It’s not only simpler to clean

off styling product residue after each use, but you’ll also find that hair

glides easily over the surface of the plates as you’re straightening.

The ceramic surface also helps smooth down flyaways and frizzies.

As you smooth each strand, heat is evenly distributed so that the

style you create has a salon-perfect, silky smooth, shining finish.

Hair slips right off the plates after it’s straightened.

The ceramic technology makes styling your hair easier and the

results more professional.

STRAIGHTENING BASICS

1. Be sure locking mechanism on cool tip is released to open

barrel for straightening.

2. Section hair evenly and comb each section.

3. Place hair section between plates and press together.

4. Slowly guide plates down hair strand. Repeat as necessary

until hair strand is smooth.

CURLING WITH THE EASY-GLIDE

TOURMALINE CERAMIC-COATED BARREL

The barrel of your new iron has a Easy-Glide tourmaline ceramic-

coated surface. The tourmaline ceramic-coated surface also helps

smooth down flyaways and frizzies while curling. As you wind

each strand around the barrel, it evenly distributes heat so that the

style you create has a salon-perfect, silky smooth, shining finish.

Hair slips right off the barrel after it’s curled as well. The ceramic

technology is a pleasure to work with and makes styling your hair

easier and the results more professional.

CURLING BASICS

1. Be sure the locking mechanism on cool tip is locked to keep

barrel closed while curling.

2. Section dry hair evenly, and comb each section before

winding. Pressing the automatic curl release, place curling iron

midway up the hair section, then spread hair evenly between

spoon and barrel. Release automatic curl release to hold hair

in place. Gently slide curling iron down to hair ends. To avoid

crimped ends, make sure they are securely wound under the

spoon in the direction of the desired curl. Remember, always

place the spoon above the hair strand when making a curl you

want rolled under; place the spoon under the hair strand when

making a flip style.

3. Wind the hair up as far as you want it curled, being careful not

to let the iron touch the scalp. Hold in place for 8-12 seconds

depending on the texture and length of your hair. For tighter,

bouncier curls, roll less hair. For looser, freeflowing curls, roll

more hair.

4. When finished, unwind the hair and press the automatic curl

release. To set the curl, do not comb or brush through hair

until it cools.

TOURMALINE CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY

The Tourmaline Ceramic Technology features crushed tourmaline

gem stone crystals infused with ceramic. Tourmaline emits negative

ions which dramatically reduce drying time and static electricity.

Ceramic emit far infrared heat providing a gentle, even heat that

is less damaging. The results are unsurpassed; faster, healthier

drying with shiny, smooth results.

USING INSTANT HEAT, THE 25 VARIABLE

TEMPERATURE SETTINGS & UNIFORM

HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM

This styling iron features VS Sassoon’s Instant Heat technology. It

heats up to the temperature you’ve selected for your hair quickly

and is ready to use. Within this Instant Heat technology there are 25

variable temperature settings. Every type of hair, from the finest to

the curliest and most resistant, has a temperature range that’s

gentle and safe for it and helps you create the look you want.

And that’s not all. VS Sassoon’s professional salon standards of

engineering provide you with a Uniform Heat Recovery System that

maintains the iron at constant temperatures. There is a constant

surge of power to ensure that heat is continuously delivered for

optimal styling results, unlike other units which lose heat during

use. This provides consistent styling power so that every strand

of your hair is set with the same level of heat and comes out the

same way for a perfect finish.

USER MAINTENANCE

Your styler is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed.

If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from

the power source and wipe exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal

condition occurs, unplug the appliance, allow it to cool and return

it for repair to an authorized service center only. No repairs should

be attempted by the consumer.

CAUTION

NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled or twisted. Never

wrap the cord around the appliance. Damage will occur at the high

flex point of entry into the appliance, causing it to rupture and short.

Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if

damage is visible or if unit stops or operates intermittently.

STORAGE

When not in use, your appliance should be disconnected, allowed

to cool and stored in a safe, dry location out of reach of children.

Do not jerk or strain cord at plug connections. Do not wrap the line

cord around the appliance. Allow the cord to hang or lie loose and

straight at the point of entry into the appliance.
