- This appliance is not intended for

use by persons (including children)

with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities, or lack of

experience and knowledge, unless

they have been given supervision

or instruction concerning use of the

appliance by a person responsible

for their safety.

- Children should be supervised to

ensure that they do not play with

the appliance.



- Use and store the appliance at a

temperature between 5°C and

35°C.

- The shaver complies with the

internationally approved IEC safety

regulations and can be safely

cleaned under the tap (Fig. 1).

- Be careful with hot water. Always

check if the water is not too hot, to

avoid burning your hands.

- This washable shaver is not suitable

for shaving in the shower.

- Do not immerse the shaver in

water (Fig. 2).

- Remove the batteries from the

appliance if you are not going to

use it for a month or more.

- Do not use the shaver in

combination with pre-shave

lotions, creams, foams, gels or other

cosmetic products.



- This Philips appliance complies

with all standards regarding

electromagnetic elds (EMF). If

handled properly and according to

the instructions in this user manual,

the appliance is safe to use based

on scientic evidence available

today.



The appliance runs on two R6 AA

1.5-volt alkaline batteries. Preferably

use Philips batteries to achieve optimal

shaving performance.



Make sure your hands and the

appliance are dry when you insert the

batteries.

1 Remove the battery compartment

cover (Fig. 3).

2 Put two batteries in the battery

compartment (Fig. 4).

Make sure the + and - poles point in

the right direction.

Note: The appliance does not work if the

batteries have been placed incorrectly.

3 Slide the battery compartment

cover back onto the appliance

(‘click’) (Fig. 5).





- Do not expose the appliance to

temperatures higher than 35°C.

- Remove the batteries if you are

not going to use the appliance for a

month or more.

- Do not leave empty batteries in the

appliance.



1 Remove the protection cap.

2 Press the on/off button to switch

on the shaver (Fig. 6).

3 Move the shaving heads over

your skin. Make both straight and

circular movements (Fig. 7).

Note: Shaving on a dry face gives the best

results.

Note: Your skin may need 2 or 3 weeks

to get accustomed to the Philips shaving

system.

4 When you have nished shaving,

press the on/off button again to

switch off the appliance.

5 Clean the shaver after every use

(see chapter ‘Cleaning’).

6 Put the protection cap on the

shaver to prevent damage to the

shaving heads (Fig. 8).

Note: Make sure that the lug of the

protection cap covers the release button.



Never use scouring pads, abrasive

cleaning agents or aggressive liquids

such as petrol or acetone to clean the

appliance.

Be careful with hot water. Always check

if the water is not too hot, to avoid

burning your hands.

Regular cleaning guarantees better

shaving performance.

The easiest and most hygienic way

to clean the appliance is to rinse the

shaving unit and the hair chamber with

hot water every time you have used the

appliance.





Never rinse the shaver when the

battery compartment is open. Always

make sure the battery compartment

cover is properly attached before you

start rinsing the shaver.

1 Switch off the shaver.

2 Rinse the outside of the shaving

unit under a hot tap for some

time (Fig. 9).

3 Press the release button (1) and

pull the shaving unit in a straight

upward movement off the shaver

(2) (Fig. 10).

4 Rinse the inside of the shaving

unit under a hot tap for some

time (Fig. 11).

5 Rinse the hair chamber under a

hot tap for some time (Fig. 12).

6 Put the shaving unit back onto the

shaver (Fig. 13).





Note: Do not use cleaning agents or

alcohol to clean the shaving heads. Only

use HQ110 Shaving Head Cleaning Spray.

1 Switch off the shaver.

2 Press the release button (1) and

pull the shaving unit off the shaver

(2) (Fig. 10).

3 Turn the orange wheel

anticlockwise (1) and remove the

retaining frame (2) (Fig. 14).

4 Remove the shaving heads

from the shaving unit one by

one (Fig. 15).

Note: Do not clean more than one cutter

and guard at a time, since they are all

matching sets. If you accidentally mix

up the cutters and guards, it may take

several weeks before optimal shaving

performance is restored.

5 Remove the cutter from the

guard (Fig. 16).

6 Clean the cutter with the short-

bristled side of the brush. Brush

carefully in the direction of the

arrows (Fig. 17).

7 Clean the guard with the

brush (Fig. 18).

8 Put the shaving heads back into

the shaving unit.

9 Put the retaining frame back into

the shaving unit and turn the

orange wheel clockwise.

10 Put the shaving unit back onto the

shaver.



- Put the protection cap on the

shaver after use to prevent damage

to the shaving heads (Fig. 8).

Note: Make sure that the lug of the

protection cap covers the release button.



Replace the shaving heads every two

years for optimal shaving results.

Replace damaged or worn shaving

heads with Philips HQ55 shaving heads.

For instructions on how to remove

the shaving heads, see section ‘Every

two months: shaving heads’ in chapter

‘Cleaning and maintenance’.



- Do not throw away the appliance

with the normal household waste

at the end of its life, but hand it in

at an ofcial collection point for

recycling. By doing this, you help to

preserve the environment (Fig. 19).

- Batteries contain substances that

may pollute the environment.

Do not throw away empty

batteries with the normal

household waste, but dispose of

them at an ofcial collection point

for batteries. Always remove the

batteries before you discard and

hand in the appliance at an ofcial

collection point (Fig. 20).



are not covered by the terms of the

international guarantee because they are

subject to wear.



This chapter summarises the most

common problems you could encounter

with the appliance. If you are unable to

solve the problem with the information

below, contact the Consumer Care

Centre in your country.

제품 사용

1 보호용 캡을 제거하십시오.

2 전원 버튼을 눌러 면도기를 켜

십시오 (그림 6).

3 쉐이빙 헤드를 피부에 대고 직

선 또는 원을 그리듯이 고루 문

지르십시오 (그림 7).

참고: 피부가 건조한 상태에서 사용

하시면 면도가 더 잘 됩니다.

참고: 필립스 면도 시스템에 피부

가 익숙해지려면 약 2-3주 정도 걸

립니다.

4 면도가 끝나면 다시 한번 전원

버튼을 눌러 제품의 전원을 끄

십시오.

5 사용 후에는 항상 면도기를 청

소하십시오(‘청소’란 참조).

6 쉐이빙 헤드가 손상되지 않도

록 보호용 캡을 씌우십시오 (그

림 8).

청소 및 유지관리

제품을 세척할 때 수세미, 연마성

세제나 휘발유, 아세톤과 같은 강력

세제를 사용하지 마십시오.

뜨거운 물을 사용하는 경우 주의하

무 뜨겁지 않은지 항상 확인하십

시오.

면도기를 정기적으로 청소하면 더

좋은 면도 효과를 얻을 수 있습니다.

가장 쉽고 위생적인 청소법은 제품

을 사용한 후에 항상 쉐이빙 유닛

과 수염받이를 따뜻한 물로 헹구는

것입니다.

매 회 사용 후: 쉐이빙 유닛과

수염받이

절대 배터리함을 열어놓은 상태에

매 2개월: 쉐이빙 헤드

참고: 쉐이빙 헤드를 청소할 때 세

제나 알콜을 사용하지 마십시오.

HQ110 쉐이빙 헤드 클리닝 스프레

이만을 사용하십시오.

1 면도기를 끄십시오.

2 열림 버튼을 눌러(1) 쉐이빙 유

닛을 면도기에서 분리하십시오

3 주황색 잠금 장치를 시계 반대

방향으로 돌린 다음(1) 지지대

를 꺼내십시오(2) (그림 14).

4 쉐이빙 유닛에서 쉐이빙 헤드를

한개씩 꺼내십시오 (그림 15).

참고: 쉐이빙 헤드는 안쪽날과 바

깥날이 한 조로 연마되어 있으므로

섞이지 않도록 한 조씩 청소하십시

오. 만일 안쪽날과 바깥날의 조합

이 섞이게 되면, 면도 성능이 정상

으로 돌아오기까지 몇 주가 걸릴 수

도 있습니다.

5 보호대에서 커터를 꺼내십시

오 (그림 16).

6 브러시의 짧은 면으로 안쪽날을

청소하십시오. 화살표 방향으로

조심스럽게 청소하십시오 (그

림 17).

7 바깥날을 브러시로 청소하십시

오 (그림 18).

8 쉐이빙 헤드를 쉐이빙 유닛에

다시 넣으십시오.

9 지지대를 쉐이빙 유닛에 다시

놓고 주황색 잠금 장치를 시계

방향으로 돌려 지지대를 잠그십

시오.

10 쉐이빙 유닛을 다시 면도기에

결합하십시오.

보관

- 쉐이빙 헤드가 손상되지 않도록

사용 후에는 보호용 캡을 씌우

십시오 (그림 8).

참고: 보호용 캡이 열림 버튼을 덮

고 있는지 확인하십시오.

교체

최상의 면도 효과를 얻으려면 2년

에 한 번씩 쉐이빙 헤드를 교체하

십시오.

손상되거나 마모된 쉐이빙 헤드는

HQ55 필립스 쉐이빙 헤드로 교체

하십시오.

쉐이빙 헤드를 교체할 때는 ‘청

소 및 유지관리’ 란에 있는 ‘매

2개월: 쉐이빙 헤드’ 절을 참조하

십시오.

환경

4 Setelah selesai mencukur,

tekan tombol on/off lagi untuk

mematikan alat.

5 Bersihkan pencukur setiap

selesai menggunakan (lihat bab

‘Membersihkan’).

6 Pasang tutup pelindung pada

pencukur untuk mencegah

kerusakan pada kepala

pencukur (Gbr. 8).

Catatan: Pastikan cuping tutup pelindung

menutupi tombol lepas.





Jangan sekali-kali menggunakan sabut

gosok, bahan pembersih abrasif atau

cairan agresif seperti bensin atau

aseton untuk membersihkan alat.

Hati-hati dengan air panas. Selalu

periksa apakah air tidak terlalu panas

agar tangan Anda tidak terbakar.

Membersihkan secara teratur akan

menjamin hasil cukur yang lebih baik.

Cara termudah dan paling higienis untuk

membersihkan alat adalah membilas unit

pencukur dan tempat rambut dengan

air panas setiap kali setelah Anda selesai

menggunakan alat cukur.





Jangan pernah bilas pencukur jika

kompartemen baterai terbuka. Selalu

pastikan tutup kompartemen baterai

dipasang dengan benar sebelum mulai

membilas pencukur.

Catatan: Jangan membersihkan lebih

dari satu pemotong dan pelindung

5 Lepaskan pemotong dari

7 Bersihkan pelindungnya dengan

sikat (Gbr. 18).

8 Kembalikan kepala cukur ke dalam

9 Pasang kembali bingkai penahan

pada unit pencukur dan putar roda

jingga searah jarum jam.

10 Pasang kembali unit pencukur pada

alat cukur.
